Just the two of Us

Nate and I decided to do one last camping trip with just the two of us before our little bundle arrives. With much planning (you should see the lists my husband prepares-impressive)and packing we were on our way up Logan canyon to celebrate the 24th of July. Finally after driving through 7 full campgrounds and 16 miles of dirt road we ended up at the very top of Blacksmith Fork canyon, still unsure of where we really were, and set up camp around 11pm in the pitch black! When morning came we did some exploring and figured out where we were, and to our pleasant surprise we were at an absolutely beautiful and empty campground called Spring. We had such an amazing time together. So many good laughs, heart to hearts about all our hopes and dreams for our little baby, many "remember when..."conversations and some quiet, peaceful moments to just sit back and relax. I love my Husband so much, he is truly my best friend. Times like a little nature get away without everyday life interruptions and stresses really makes me realize and appreciate what's so important to me.

Getting the fire started...

We ate like Kings! Dutch oven ribs with peach cobbler. This was our first time dutch oven cooking and we did pretty well!

It wouldn't be camping if we didn't bring these two! Harley and Booz had so much fun! There was a beautiful river/stream in our campsite that we all played in.

Looks like a blast! Nothing like camping to remind you how much you love your hubby. :)

That is so cool that you got to have a fun camping trip before she comes. I want to go camping so bad but we will have to wait until next year. You guys are such a cute couple.

This is a classic, you've probably seen it, but it never gets old!
